We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter with recent public accounting tax experience and a passion for the industry and client service to lead tax engagements for closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals. Working closely with Partners and team members and ensuring outstanding client service, you will prepare and review complex business and individual tax returns including partnership, S-Corp, trust and multi-state returns; complete complex tax planning and research, resolve tax audit disputes and develop and manage professional client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience encompassing progressive scope and responsibility
- CPA license
- Strong tax reviewer with proven knowledge of pass-through entity taxation, tax compliance and all types of returns
- Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment and supervise staff accountants on multiple engagements
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, leadership and PC skills including MS Excel and accounting software proficiency (Thomson Reuters Creative Solutions software proficiency is a plus)

Staff Accountant

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting with 150 credit hours required.
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts required.
- Experience in public or private accounting, auditing and/or preparing tax returns a plus.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters Creative Solutions software suite a plus.
- Other requirements include CPA license or desire to take CPA exam.
